Apple Teacher multicolor gradient sticker (2024)

This Apple Teacher sticker features the Apple Teacher logotype (in a Medium weight of Apple’s San Francisco corporate font) printed on a multicolor gradient background. The colors in the gradient range from blur, violet, red, orange, yellow, green, to teal. The text is white and a white QR code is included. The center of the QR code displays a gold outline star icon on a white circle. The star icon is the “badge” earned by educators for each category of the Apple Teacher program they complete successfully. The QR code leads to https://education.apple.com.

According to Apple’s website:

“Apple Teacher is a free professional learning program designed to support and celebrate educators using Apple products for teaching and learning. As an educator you can build skills on iPad and Mac that directly apply to activities with your students, earn recognition for the new things you learn, and be rewarded for the great work you do every day.”

The sticker measures 4 inches wide, 1 5/8 inches tall, and features rounded corners. The peel-off back paper is white.

US Education Sales Mug (black, multicolor logo, 2024)

This black mug features a stylized rainbow logo in colors reminiscent of Apple’s original six-color logo and the words “US Education Sales” printed in white in the Apple Garamond font, Apple’s corporate font from 1984–2003.

The mug was sent to Apple Employees who were part of the United States Apple Education Sales team in 2024.

Multicolor Apple logo pin (white packaging, 2023)

This multicolor Apple logo pin is made of lightweight dark gray metal and printed with the classic 6-color Apple logo. The pin is presented on a 7.5 x 7.5 cm piece of white card stock with rounded edges (reminiscent of an iOS icon). The card is printed with a black Apple logo at top-center about half the size of the pin.

The pin is in the shape of Apple’s classic logo and measures 18 mm wide x 23 mm tall. The back of the pin has a protruding pin with a butterfly clutch to secure it.

My collection includes an identical pin in black packaging.

Apple Garamond T-shirt (black, multicolor logotype, 2XL, 2022)

This Apple Park T-shirt is black with the Apple logotype in five of six original Apple logo colors. “Apple Garamond” refers to Apple’s corporate font used between 1984 and 2003.

A T-shirt with a similar design is featured on page 57 of the Spring 1993 Starting Line: Apple Marketing Communications Catalog. Its description reads:

Black Apple T-shirt
Modeled after the sweatshirt John Scully wears on the cover of his book Odyssey: From Pepsi to Apple, this black Apple T-shirt is 100% preshrunk cotton with a five-color Apple name. Adult sizes S–XXL. APL166

This shirt was purchased at the Apple Visitor Center Apple Store at Apple Park. The shirt is a size 2XL, unopened in its original box. The white box is printed with a white Apple logo and measures 195mm x 195mm x 35mm.

Luggage Tag set (1993)

This set contains two luggage tags that feature the 6-color Apple logo on one side and a window for identification on the other side. The tags were originally white, but discolored over time.

The package includes two blank identification cards and two black plastic straps. The set is sealed in the original plastic.

This product is featured on page 61 of the Spring 1993 Starting Line: Apple Marketing Communications Catalog. Its description reads:

Luggage Tag
No more lost luggage. This tag has a clear slot that allows you to slip in your business card, home address, or the address of your destination. The strap is detachable, making it easy to put the tag on another piece of luggage Two tags per package. Dimensions 4 1/2” x 2 1/2”

Apple logo window stickers (Motter Tektura logotype, c. 1980)

These Apple stickers are printed with the logo and adhesive on the same side, allowing them to stick on the inside of a window. The white backing measures 4 x 4.75 inches.

The stickers use the Motter Tekura font and feature the 6-color Apple logo. Between 1977 and approximately 1984, Apple used the font Motter Tekura in their logo in all lowercase type (altered only by the removal of the dot over the “i” in “inc.”). When peeled off the backing, the logotype is not included with the sticker—only the logo.

The stickers also include the helpful direction in all caps to “BEND PACK AND PEEL” to release the sticker.

The somewhat odd look of the stickers is due to the “bleed” of the ink off the outer edges. When peeled off the sticker, the logos have the typical logo shape and the extra color that “bleeds” off the edges is left on the backing.

The stickers also include the helpful direction in all caps to “BEND PACK AND PEEL” to release the sticker.

Apple sticker packs (die-cut backing, Motter Tektura logotype, c. 1984)

These sets of Apple stickers are in original packaging and feature large stickers on a white backing measuring 4.25 x 3.5 inches and small stickers on a white backing measuring 1.75 x 2.25 inches.

The stickers use the Motter Tekura font and feature the 6-color Apple logo. Between 1977 and approximately 1984, Apple used the font Motter Tekura in their logo in all lowercase type. Several sources verify that these stickers were included in the packaging of the original Macintosh, the Macintosh 128k, and the Macintosh 512k, despite the fact that the original Macintosh devices used the Apple Garamond font printed on the case.

The odd look of the stickers is due to the “bleed” of the ink off the outer edges. When peeled off the sticker, the logos have the typical logo shape and the extra color that “bleeds” off the edges is left on the backing.

The stickers also include the helpful direction in all caps to “BEND PACK AND PEEL” to release the sticker.
