Apple Vision Pro Travel Case (2024)

The Apple Vision Pro Travel Case is described by Apple as having “a retractable handle and specially designed compartments for your battery, ZEISS Optical Inserts, Apple Vision Pro Cover, and additional accessories.”

The exterior of the Apple Vision Pro Travel Case uses a material reminiscent of a windbreaker and loosely covers the polycarbonate protective structure. Apple refers to this white covering as “Ripstop,” defined by Wikipedia as “a woven fabric, often made of nylon, using a reinforcing technique that makes it more resistant to tearing and wear.” The case is printed on one side with the words “Apple Vision Pro” in light gray in Apple’s San Francisco font.

The outer retractable handle is light gray and borders the entire upper curve of the case. When not in use, it hugs tightly to the contour of the case.

The interior of the Apple Vision Pro Travel Case is lined with microfiber in a color and texture similar to Apple’s infamous polishing cloth. The Apple Vision Pro fits perfectly in the case and includes a velcro strap to securely hold the battery. A white circular drawstring bag fits in the space in the open area between the front of the headset and the headband.

The Apple Vision Pro Travel Case measures 11.69 inches tall, 8.78 inches high, and 6.5 inches deep.

The Verge offered: “The huge case costs an additional $199 and looks like a marshmallow from space. I love it.” I concur wholeheartedly that the case looks like a marshmallow from space, and add that it would pair well with a NASA or SpaceX spacesuit.

iPod “Take One” Apple Store brochure collection (2005)

iPod photo “Take One” store brochures (2005)—Each of these set of three 1-page brochures measures 4.375 x 6.5 inches and features an iPod photo (30GB and 60GB) on the front along with a closeup of the color screen. There are three versions of this design: a green-to-blue gradient background, a yellow-to-green gradient background, and a pink-to-yellow gradient background. The back features a photo of the full iPod photo with a Photo Library on the screen and descriptions of the iPod’s features.

iPod nano “Take One” store brochure (2005)—This 1-page brochure measures 4.375 x 6.5 inches. The front shows a hand holding an iPod nano between the thumb and forefinger with the headline “1,000 songs. Impossibly small. iPod nano.” on a black background. The back has a white background, pictures both a white and black iPod nano, and describes the device’s features.

iPod shuffle “Take One” store brochure (January 2005)—This 1-page brochure measures 4.375 x 6.5 inches and features an iPod shuffle on a bright green background on the front with a stylized “shuffle” graphic in light green in the background. The back describes the iPod shuffle, shows the back of the device (“Actual Size”), and pictures line drawings of four available Apple accessories: Sport Case, Dock, Armband, and Battery Pack.

EncycliPodia brochure (2005)

This iPod brochure from 2005 uses the unique, play-on-words title, “EncycliPodia,” a mash-up of the words “encyclopedia” and “iPod.” The cover is understated in light blue with a small Apple logo in the corner and the title in the Apple Myriad font.

The 2-page spreads at the beginning of the brochure feature iPod devices on a color background on the left page and text and diagrams on the facing right page on a white background. Many of the iPod photos specify that they are actual size.

After the iPod devices are outlined, the EncycliPodia presents 2-page spreads of accessories on a light blue background, including “In the Car Accessories,” “At Home Accessories,” “On the Go Accessories,” and “Apple Accessories.”

The back cover features a grid titled “Which iPod are you?” Among other information, each iPod model is identified by size—“About the size of:”
iPod shuffle: pack of gum
iPod mini: cell phone
iPod: deck of cards

The brochure measures 7 x 7 inches and has 10 pages.
