Luggage Tag (running person, c. 1990)

This plastic luggage tag is printed on green translucent plastic and features the stylized image of a running person. The upper-right corner includes a silver Apple logo. The tag has a clear rubber loop that can be used to attach the tag to a luggage handle.

I do not recognize this specific design as it relates to an Apple product or service. If you have any history on this design, please contact me.

The luggage tag measures 4.25 x 2.25 inches.

Leather ID/Card Holder with Key Ring (c. 1990)

This Leather ID/Card Holder with Key Ring features two pockets on one side, a clear plastic-covered window on the opposite side, and a zippered pocket in the center. The black holder is made from genuine leather and features an embossed Apple logo and the Apple logotype printed in the Apple Garamond font (used by Apple from 1984–2003).

The holder was made by Eisinger-Smith, Inc., a company that began in 1980 and as of now (2021) specializes in custom printed golf accessories. The Leather ID/Card Holder with Key Ring measures 3 x 4 inches.

Beige Mousepad (c. 1985)

This early Apple mousepad matches the beige plastics of the original Macintosh used from 1984 to approximately 1990 (Apple changed the Macintosh to to Platinum in 1990). The mousepad measures 8.5 x 11 inches with rounded edges and is 3/16 inch (0.1875) thick. 

The mouse surface is a textured plastic that is showing some discoloring due to its age. It features a classic Apple multicolor logo in the lower-right corner. The bottom of the mousepad uses a rubber textured material.

Ceramic Post-It holder (c. 1995)

This Post-It note holder is made from white ceramic and features a printed classic multicolor Apple logo at the top center. The holder contains a custom-printed stack of Post-It notes with a red watermark Apple logo printed in the center of each note (the Post-Its are authentic Post-It brand). 

The holder is 4.5 inches tall, 3.125 inches wide, and sits at an angle that tapers from 0.75 inch in the back to 0.25 inch in the front. The bottom of the holder is covered in a black, non-skid material. The holder is packaged in its original gold box.

The Post-Its are white (although they now discoloring with age) with a light watermark Apple logo printed in red. The Post-Its are the standard 3 x 3-inch square size.

Apple Education ’93 Pen and Pencil Set (1993)

This Apple Education pen and pencil set was manufactured in Germany by the Senator company. The set consists of a similarly designed white plastic pen and pencil with black accents and a black rubber grip. The sides of the pen and pencil are printed in the Apple Garamond font (Apple’s corporate font from 1984–2003) with “Apple Education ’93” and a compass symbol with a black Apple logo at the center.

The box from the set measures 6.875 inches tall, 1.75 inches wide, and 0.75 inches deep. The pen and pencil are clipped to a white plastic base.

According to their website, the company that manufactured this set is still in operation and recently celebrated their 100th anniversary: “senator products stand out because they represent a thorough concept targeting individualised brand presentation: a broad range of designs, dependable production and customised printing mean they offer a perfect match with your brand.”

USB-C Charge Cable (2m, 2019)

Apple described this cable:

“This 2-meter charge cable — with USB-C connectors on both ends — is ideal for charging, syncing, and transferring data between USB-C devices. USB-C 30W Power Adapter (2019)

Apple described the 30W USB‑C Power Adapter as offering “fast, efficient charging at home, in the office, or on the go. While the power adapter is compatible with any USB‑C–enabled device, Apple recommends pairing it with the 13-inch MacBook Air with Retina display for optimal charging performance. You can also pair it with select iPhone and iPad Pro models to take advantage of the fast-charging feature.”

Apple Watch Sport Loop (44mm, Abyss, 2021)

The Apple Watch Sport Loop band was woven from nylon thread to create a hook-and-loop closure. These bands were available for the 38/40mm and 42/44mm Apple Watch models, and were offered in sizes to fit 130–200mm wrists (40mm) and 145–220mm wrists (44mm).

This Abyss band used a base color of blue with edges in light blue and dark gray. The connector plastics were dark blue and the closure plastic was light blue.

Apple described the Apple Watch Sport Loop band:

“Soft, breathable, and lightweight, the Sport Loop features a hook-and-loop fastener for quick and easy adjustment. The double-layer nylon weave has dense loops on the skin side that provide soft cushioning while allowing moisture to escape. On the reverse side, the attachment loops are securely anchored for superior durability.”
